ShopeePay and SeaBank Indonesia Deliver IDR 1.2B+ in Donations Through Peduli Programs

Jakarta, 22 January, 2026 - ShopeePay and SeaBank Indonesia continue to strengthen their commitment to supporting social and humanitarian initiatives in Indonesia through the ShopeePay Peduli and SeaBank Peduli programs. Through these initiatives, the two platforms have collectively channeled more than IDR 1.2 billion in donations, reflecting strong participation from users across both ecosystems.

The contributions include IDR 100 million in donation matching from ShopeePay, as well as IDR 250 million in donation matching from SeaBank on top of user donations. The donations were distributed in collaboration with trusted social and humanitarian organizations, including Rumah Yatim, Baznas, NU Care Lazisnu, Dompet Dhuafa, and Rumah Zakat, to support urgent humanitarian relief, especially supporting early recovery of essential needs.

ShopeePay Peduli donations in particular were channeled to build temporary sanitation facilities in Dayah Kruet village (Aceh province), among others. Sanitation facilities are urgent and important in recovery scenarios, given the need to manage potential hygiene-related diseases. SeaBank Peduli donations were similarly focused on infrastructure recovery in affected areas, including the construction of clean water wells and temporary housing for impacted communities in Aceh.

ShopeePay Peduli and SeaBank Peduli are designed to make social contribution more accessible through digital financial services. By integrating donation features into everyday payment and banking activities, ShopeePay and SeaBank enable users to participate in social initiatives in a practical, transparent, and secure manner.

“This collective effort reflects the trust and active participation of our users. Through ShopeePay Peduli and SeaBank Peduli, every contribution, regardless of its amount, helps create a meaningful impact for communities in need,” said Eka Nilam Dari, President Director of ShopeePay Indonesia.

Echoing this commitment, Junedy Liu, Vice President of SeaBank Indonesia, said that SeaBank Peduli reflects the bank’s ongoing efforts to contribute beyond financial services.

“Through SeaBank Peduli, we aim to make social contribution more accessible for our customers while supporting initiatives that deliver tangible benefits for communities. We believe digital banking can play an important role in encouraging sustainable and responsible social impact,” he said.

Both ShopeePay and SeaBank emphasized the role of digital financial services as enablers of broader social participation by connecting users with trusted social institutions and initiatives. By leveraging their respective ecosystems, the two platforms continue to expand opportunities for users to engage in social causes as part of their daily digital activities.

The ShopeePay Peduli and SeaBank Peduli programs form part of ongoing efforts to embed social responsibility into digital payment and banking services. Moving forward, ShopeePay and SeaBank remain committed to collaborating with users, partners, and social institutions to strengthen collective impact and support inclusive social development across Indonesia.
