SPX Express Philippines Delivers Aid Relief to Flood-Affected Communities in Luzon Following Typhoon Crising

Manila, August 5, 2025 - SPX Express Philippines mobilized immediate relief efforts across flood-affected communities in Luzon following the onslaught of Typhoon Crising (international name: Wipha). On July 28, the logistics provider delivered food and water packs to displaced families in Laguna, Bulacan, NCR, Rizal, and Quezon City.

Working closely with local government units, SPX Express distributed relief packs containing rice, canned goods, biscuits, and water to address the immediate needs of families affected by days of continuous rainfall and widespread flooding.

“We thank SPX Express for their initiative of bringing relief aid to some of our affected communities,” said Mayor Ronnie Evangelista of Rodriguez, Rizal. "Disaster relief efforts, like this, help support local government units, like ours, in their ongoing relief operations on the ground, allowing faster provision of aid to families and communities. Thus, they are always welcome and highly appreciated.”

Martin Yu, Head of SPX Express Philippines, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting local communities: “Our priority was to move quickly and provide real support to the affected communities. We remain committed to standing in solidarity with the Filipino people, delivering relief and meaningful impact when it matters most.”

This operation continues SPX Express’ broader community impact efforts in the Philippines, including previous partnerships with Shopee for emergency relief and rescue boat donations since December 2024.
