São Paulo, May 13, 2025 – Shopee and Sebrae announced a new free learning platform to help small entrepreneurs thrive in the digital market. The initiative is part of the partnership established at the end of 2024 between the two organizations and seeks to strengthen Brazilian entrepreneurship through best practices for starting and scaling e-commerce businesses.
With content developed by experts from Shopee and Sebrae, the distance learning platform offers a comprehensive course divided into five modules that cover everything from basic knowledge about online sales to more advanced strategies, including pricing and negotiation with suppliers. Participants, even without prior knowledge of marketplaces, will learn how to start and grow their e-commerce sales.
“We will train small businesses to enter the online sales universe more quickly and efficiently, also ensuring greater sustainability and competitiveness over time. Marketplaces are a great showcase for small businesses, which must use digital tools to seek new markets,” says Bruno Quick, Technical Director of Sebrae.
“Digitalization is essential to expand the markets of small and medium-sized companies, boosting their growth. We are committed to supporting Brazilian entrepreneurship, and we believe that training is essential for the development of our country. This is one of Shopee’s main priorities,” says Luciana Hachmann, Head of Government Relations at Shopee.
In addition to free content, the platform offers additional benefits as entrepreneurs complete the tracks, such as an exclusive community on WhatsApp with support from partner consultants who can answer questions and guide participants after the training. In the future, two more content tracks will be launched, focusing on business professionalization, performance data analysis, marketing strategies, and good customer service practices.
