São Paulo, July 11, 2023 – Shopee has launched the Volta das Aulas Consciente initiative that aims to encourage the donation of school and educational supplies to foster the study of the English language among young students from underprivileged communities in São Paulo.

From July 11, users can help contribute to the educational journey of these young students by choosing from four digital donation options on Shopee Donações. These include an annual school kit which will cover a student’s needs for a year, as well as 1-month, 6-month, or 1-year English class kits, to empower students with the essential tools necessary for them to excel academically. 

“Our mission is to transform lives through technology, with this initiative we want to facilitate access to projects that encourage and help develop a better society,” said Felipe Piringer, Head of Marketing at Shopee Brazil.

All donations made through Shopee Donações will go directly to Cidadão Pró-Mundo, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that strives to provide opportunities for integration and social advancement for young individuals attending public schools in the state of São Paulo, by providing them free English language education. The group will help distribute the donated school supplies to the eager young learners.
